My name is Shannon Fletcher, and I am the proud owner of Elegant Sloth Jewelry. Let me dive in and tell you a little bit about how I got started.

For many years my dream has been to start up a business of my own. Making items by hand is something I have enjoyed since I was a child, but I had to find a product that I would be truly passionate about. Fashion has always been an interest of mine, but since I cannot sew, clothing was obviously not an option. One thing that was a struggle when it came to putting together beautiful outfits was accessories. I would think of the perfect necklace in my head to go with my look, but when I searched for something like it online or in stores, I always came up short. I could never find what I was looking for. That is why I decided to create this brand.

The year my son was born was the year I quit my desk job. This was when I decided to follow my dreams. I began creating earrings, which were a big hit with my friends and family. I quickly began to get better at it and started adding necklaces and bracelets to my growing collection. I worked hard to perfect my skills so I could be proud of the products that I offer. After a while, I started creating gorgeous rings (which have been a huge hit with, well, everyone).

I had to choose a name for my small business, and I wanted something that embodied who I am. The name had to make me smile when I looked at it. It had to be unique and fun. It took some time to find the name that was right for me. I landed on Elegant Sloth Jewelry. It had everything I wanted it to have. Over time, it has slowly morphed into something else. Now, when people talk about my brand, they call it “The Elegant Sloth”. 

Hours of hard work (and a lot of coffee) has been poured into creating gorgeous, beaded jewelry that I hope you will love.
